Title: Use What God Gave You!

Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 (HCSB) – For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

“God blessed you with the courage to do the extraordinary, for He created you with that in mind.”
~Prayers & Blessings~

Body: “You just gotta let go and let God!” How many times have you heard that? Countless, right?? But have you ACTUALLY done it every single time? Be honest. Fifty (50) percent of the time? Slim to none? Yup, that would be me … and I know I am not alone. Really letting go (or the lack thereof) continues to show me just how much I don’t trust Him, the One Who created all things, with my life … the very life HE created! It’s a convicting thought, yet humbling at the same time.

How can I NOT trust Him? He made me, He knows all about me … He knows me better than I even know myself! Everything He does in and through me is a part of Him getting the glory out of my life! He knows just what needs to happen in my life to remind me who I am, Whose I am … and who/what I’m not!

The God of the universe wants me to fulfill the purpose He placed inside of me — through all the different aspects of my life – the good, the not-so-good and otherwise. No matter what He allows in my life, He has equipped me to handle it … as long as I handle it WITH HIM!! He has a purpose in mind for each and every test and trial He sends our way! The only person that can do what God called you to do is YOU! He made you with His special purpose in mind … WOW!!

So we must be about our Father’s business! Although He really doesn’t need our help, He creates opportunities for us to serve Him and serve others. How can we not praise Him, thank Him, worship Him, serve Him … and the like?? We are because HE IS!!!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are so very thankful that Your ways and thoughts are not ours! You are the Ultimate Potter of every piece of clay You have created. May we be open to Your leading — sharing and teaching the Gospel to all nations, showing Your Love. Thank You for equipping us for the journey. Thank You for reminding us that no matter what You allow, You won’t ever put more on us than we can bear! In Jesus’ Name we always pray, AMEN!
